We own and operate The Academy of Spinsters, a learning institution for the
fiber arts.  We teach carding, spinning on both wheels and spindles,
fleeceweaving, triangle loom weaving, needlefelting and natural dyeing.  
Lodging is available.  No regular classes for these activities
just contact us and make an appointment .

We are available for your group to spend a weekend and also have
The Gathering (a free weekend) every September.

I have published two fiber books, FLEECEWEAVING and SAMMY'S
SHAWL, and a natural dye video, also in DVD form
